PAYMENT POLICY

Physical therapy services are provided at The Answer and billed by our billing department. 

If your plan is not listed, we will be unable to file a claim on your behalf immediately, however we will contact your insurance company and discuss ways to become a provider so that we can process your claims at a later date.  

Please be aware that with any health plans, there may be deductibles and co-payments for which you could be responsible.  Co-payments can be negotiable based upon your financial status.

HEALTH PLANS
  • The Answer Physical Therapy accepts:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield 

  • Medicare & Medicare Advantage Plans

  • Aetna

  • Northern Illinois Health Plan

  • The Alliance

  • United Healthcare

  • Veterans (VA)

  • ... and most other insurances (Aetna, Humana, etc.)  We will be in communication with your doctor to discuss a plan of care in the event you need therapy services.

  • If you have health insurance that The Answer Physical Therapy has not worked with in the past, we will contact the insurance company to discuss eligibility and coverage for physical therapy.

QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR BILL

What billing or insurance information will I receive?

​You will receive a copy of your bill. After your insurance has paid, we'll provide you with a monthly statement of your account.

How long will it take to get things settled with the insurance company?

Generally, it takes from 45 to 60 days to obtain payment from an insurance carrier.​

Why am I getting bills for physical therapy?

You may be responsible for a co-payment or deductible.  This depends upon your plan. Co-payments can be negotiable based upon your financial status. Feel free to contact our office to discuss payment options.​
